Land Quality Assurer

We are currently recruiting for Land Quality Assurers (LQAs - previously known as Sampling Verifiers) for our City & Guilds NPTC Certificates of Competence. Information about our qualifications is available on the NPTC website.

LQAs support our centres to ensure regulatory and City & Guilds quality assurance requirements are being met. As an LQA, you will work closely between centres and our quality teams to plan and conduct quality assurance activities and developing and maintaining effective working relationships.

Centre qualification assurance activities can be a mix of face-to-face or desk-based, and we require LQAs based across the UK and Northern Ireland and Republic of Ireland. This role may involve travel, as required by City & Guilds.

The roles are contracted on an annual basis and are not directly employed by City & Guilds, which means you can keep your current role while developing further skills.

Applicants for the Land Quality Assurer role must:

  • Be occupationally competent and current in the qualification area being quality assured
  • Have experience of working in a regulated environment
  • Have excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Be able to provide supporting, concise feedback to learners, Assessors, centre and City & Guilds staff
