T Level Marking Examiner - Building Services Engineering - Core Exams

We are looking for competent T Level Marking Examiners to join us in the delivery of the Autumn 2023 assessment series and beyond.
This associate role gives you the opportunity to work alongside your current job, to build additional income with competitive daily rates, and to continue to develop your own skills and development.

There are 2 Core Examination Papers for Building Services Engineering. Both papers are 110 mark assessments consisting of a mixture of short answer questions (SAQ), some of which are structured, and extended response questions. The questions assess across assessment objectives (AOs) 1, 2 and 3, allowing for the appropriate differentiation of learners to support in the reliable setting of boundaries.

• Building Services Engineering (BSE) systems
• Maintenance principles
Marking Examiners appointed will be invited to attend training and Standardisation for marking of these Core Examination Papers. Please note, unless you express specifically your preference for marking either Paper 1 or Paper 2 in your application, you will be allocated either assessment to mark based on your skills and experience.

Potential Additional Duties
- During the marking and awarding period some markers may be promoted to the role of a Marking Team Lead. Task profiles for this role will be shared once markers have successfully completed training.
- A selection of markers may be asked to input into one or more awarding meetings. Each awarding meeting typically is a full day meeting in July (Summer Series) and/or January (Autumn Series), which may be face-to-face in London or remote via Microsoft Teams.
