Professional Taxi and Private Hire Driver - Content Production Associate

We are looking for an examiner to join us in the maintenance of the Professional Taxi and Hire Driver qualification.

The Role profile outlines the expectations of the role, and the Person Specification outlines the experience required to qualify.
This role will be involved in reviewing existing assessment materials for currency and technical accuracy and ensuring that content complies with assessment principles and qualification specifications.
The Writer will also be involved in writing new assessment content or amending existing content where required.
This role will need to be up to date with current regulatory frameworks and legal requirements.

We would require successful applicants to have knowledge of the following:
- Health and safety in the taxi and private hire work environment
- Road safety when driving passengers in a taxi or private hire vehicle
- Professional customer service in the taxi and private hire industry
- Taxi and private hire vehicle maintenance and safety inspections
- The regulatory framework of the taxi and private hire industry
- Taxi and private hire services for passengers who require assistance
- Routes and fares in the taxi and private hire vehicle industries
- Transporting of parcels, luggage and other items in the taxi and private hire industries
- Transporting of children and young persons by taxi or private hire vehicle
The applicant must have -
- Industry- specific qualification, or equivalent evidence of competence, at least at or above the level of the assessment.
- Up to date, relevant subject knowledge and / or occupational industry experience, with relevant CPD in the subject area/ sector within the last 12 months.
- Knowledge of assessment principles such as validity, reliability, manageability and accessibility.
- Knowledge of key assessment methodologies used in vocational education such as examinations / question papers (written response and multiple-choice) and non-examined assessments (practical assignments, skills tests, observation checklists, professional discussions etc.
