Artificial Intelligence Development Consultant

We are looking for Development consultants to join our team and be part of a growing network of associates.

Development Consultants have one of the most wide-ranging roles of all City & Guilds Associates, with the possibility of being involved in many different parts of the qualification and assessment development process. Some of the key roles and responsibilities that you may conduct are:

Scoping qualification content – e.g., qualification and unit structures, rules of combinations, assessment design

Writing unit content
-
Drafting assessments and sample assessment materials – e.g., multiple-choice question papers, knowledge tests, practical assessments, professional discussions, portfolios of evidence

Reviewing and amending assessments as part of reviewing panels or as a scrutineer

Reviewing the mapping of content against standards or other qualifications

We are looking for someone who has:

Significant and broad practical experience within the digital sector, including applying digital tools to optimise workflows, increase productivity, and embed continuous improvement through responsible automation, system integration, and AI-enabled solutions.

A minimum of 3 years’ experience operating at a level above standard practitioner level.

Experience advising on suitable project types for assessment, ensuring relevance across multiple sectors and a range of technology domains.

The ability to recommend when and how assessment materials should be updated in line with evolving technologies.

As part of your role, you will receive contextualized training for each development that you are involved in, and will be expected to attend online, face-to-face meetings as well as taking on some remote activities.
