Are you a qualified and experienced Plumbing and heating engineer with experience in delivering assessments and good written and verbal communication skills?  

Would you like to be involved development of assessment materials and learn how to write & edit task based assignments? 

We are looking for competent industry experts who have good written and verbal communication skills to write and/or edit questions for the New City & Guilds Level 3 Technical Occupational Entry in Plumbing and Heating (Diploma) (6036).   

This examiner role gives you the opportunity to work alongside your current job, build additional income with competitive rates, and to continue to develop your own skills and development. You will be trained in how to write & edit and work alongside City & Guilds assessment experts and other industry experts as part of the assessment production process.

We are looking for writing/editing examiners to support in the development of the assessments for City & Guilds brand new Technical Occupational Entry (OTQ) in Plumbing and Heating.  

 

The writer will be responsible for writing the assessment component covering Plumbing and Heating Installation and Maintenance covering a range of topics including: 

  • Maintain a cold/hot/sanitation and rainwater/central heating system 

  • Commission a cold/hot/sanitation and rainwater/central heating system 

  • Install and decommission an S-plan plus sealed central heating system 

  • Wire and test electrical components 

  • Identify electrical faults
